Dan Rosser

Dan Rosser PhD.- is Principal Optometrist and Head of the Optometry Dept. at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital where he works in an extended role capacity within the glaucoma, medical retina and cataract clinics as well as being responsible for the specialist contact lens and low vision clinics. He holds a number of higher optometric qualifications including the College of Optometrists’ Diplomas in Therapeutics (IP) and Glaucoma as well as Fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dan has a PhD in Vision Science from University College London (2005) and has been a member of the General Optical Council’s expert witness pool since 2018. As well as working within the hospital eye service since qualifying, he also worked part-time within community optometric practice between 1993 and 2017.
